There was a District immunization performance review meeting yesterday in the District council hall with LC3 chairpersons, Community development officers, Parish chiefs, Village Health teams(VHTs) and members of the District health team . This meeting focused on mass polio vaccination campaign , the accelerated Covid 19 vaccination campaign in busoga region and Routine mobilization.
The objectives were; to vaccinate all the targeted children with nopV2 vaccine , to prevent further spread of virus by increasing immunity in un-immunized population as well as strengthen routine immunization in the District.
Health Review meeting.
There is a district health performance review meeting today 3rd july 2024 at Betty's hotel in mayuge District.The review meeting is one of the core activities of the healthdepartment for service delivery improvement.The objectives of the meeting are:-
1. To review and discussdistrict performance implementation of key program areas(RMNCAH,HIV,Malaria/TB Reporting,Q1etc)for 4th Quarter.
2. Review action points from the previous PRM
3. Generate action plans for improving performance.
