With over 6,000 smallholder farmers and average acreage of 1.5, Mayuge District is one of the leading producers of Cocoa in Uganda and East Africa.

The project was designed and set to achieve its objectives through; awareness creation, building of partnership linkages, increasing access to recommended/ improved planting materials for key food security crops such as Banana and sweet potatoes, as well as provision of training and advisory services.
